Economic Forum
22nd May 2025
Industrial Park «Western Ukrainian Industrial Hub»
The forum is aimed at presenting the economic and investment potential of Ternopil region, drawing attention to local businesses and creating favourable conditions for the region's economic development.
State proposals
Presentation of state programmes for the development of Ukrainian producers
Business presentations
Presentation of local businesses, their achievements and innovative solutions
Networking
Developing a network of business contacts between the business community, investors, state and local authorities
Meet the investors
Introducing investors to opportunities and promising areas for investment
The goal of the ‘Made in Ukraine’ policy is to change the structure of the Ukrainian economy. The share of the manufacturing industry in the structure of a modern economically developed country should be at least 20%. Before the invasion of the Russian Federation, this figure in the structure of the Ukrainian economy was 10%. Over the next few years, we want to reach the 20% level through government support and incentives.
Jobs
The development of production, attraction of investments in the real sector and increase in non-resource exports create jobs for Ukrainian citizens in their country.
Self-sufficiency
We finance defence only from domestic sources. The amount of taxes we generate is the amount we spend on the army. The development of Ukrainian producers is an opportunity to increase budget revenues.
Economic security
First, COVID-19 and then the invasion showed the critical importance of domestic production and technology. And the blocking of ports and the land border has exposed the vulnerability of the raw material export model.
